Vista Bank in the News

Vista Group is a financial services’ holding company with the objective of becoming a world-class Pan-African financial institution group that contributes to economic growth and financial inclusion in Africa.

Under our strategic partnerships, Vista Bank Gambia is one of the collaborators and official partners of The Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA). The two institutions have collaborated from Public Private Partnership between the Government of the Gambia, PURA and SICPA (S.A.). The signing of The Escrow Accounts Agreement between Vista Bank and GRA, marked a symbolic relation supporting the modernization of revenue collection from the telecommunication sector in The Gambia. Recently the Bank and the Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a main government revenue collection channel- the taxes and custom and excise duties. This is in addition to the nontax revenues collection service, making it the third agreement in the past few years of collaboration. These actions according to the Commissioner General of the GRA will improve payment efficiency and expanding access to secure and convenient payment channels whilst strengthening the accuracy and timeliness of revenue collection and reporting.
